There are more than 20 different podcasts automatically downloaded to my iPhone every week. I caught the podcast bug about two years ago, and ever since my ears have been happily filled with business, politics, sports, leadership, coaching, and even the occasional pop culture discussion. If nothing else, it’s allowed my dog to enjoy longer walks because I can never leave an episode unfinished.
My listening addiction is why I jumped at the opportunity to join a POS industry-specific podcast venture with Jim Roddy, Reseller & ISV Business Advisor at PaymentsEdge Advisory Services with Worldpay. Jim and I – along with POS industry veterans Sean Buckley of Vend and Jeremy Julian of CBS NorthStar – plan to read a book and discuss its applications to POS resellers and software companies on a regular basis. The “On The Edge” podcast is designed for POS executives with a goal to educate them on leadership, management, hiring, sales, and other SMB best practices.
