Stop Turning Away Lucrative UCaaS Sales Opportunities

One of the best — and often missed — opportunities for increasing your monthly recurring revenue is adding Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) to your managed services offering.

When most MSPs (managed services providers) describe what they do, it’s common to hear answers like, “We manage anything that connects to our customers’ networks.” However, when pressed about specific technologies such as VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and video conferencing, that’s where we discover exceptions to the above statement. Why is that the case? One thing is certain; it’s not due to a lack of opportunities. Analyst group Infonetics, for example, projects the VoIP and UC services market will grow from $68 billion in 2013 to $88 billion by 2018. What’s more is that nearly 20 percent of new IP phone lines are sold as part of a managed services contract, according to the same research group.
